Judge Judy asks.
"No one.
No one," the defendant insists.
Judge Judy summarizes, "So you don't know if the plaintiff says that there was a chainsaw on your property that you heard.
You have no knowledge of who that was."
The defendant maintains, "No, I don't."

The Woodpile on the Plaintiffs' Property
Mr. Fletcher presents photographs of the missing trees.
He also shows pictures of the property line.
There is a pile of firewood remaining.
A trail leads from the firewood pile towards the defendant's house.
The plaintiffs confirm these were live trees, not dead ones.
Judge Judy notes that some of the trees in the pictures appear old and rotted, while others do not.
The Fletchers own 60 acres.
Judge Judy observes that this situation must have been going on for a long time without them noticing.
Mr. Fletcher confirms this.
Judge Judy questions the lack of immediate notice.
"If somebody cut down six trees on my property, I would know it," she says.
Mr. Fletcher clarifies that the wood pile is actually on his property.
It is not more than 50 feet from the defendant's property line.
He states there is an "absolute trail going from the wood pile to her house."
He shows a photograph of the firewood tarped on their property.
Mrs. Fletcher emphasizes, "It is not our firewood."

Judge Judy Dismisses the Claimed Amount
Judge Judy addresses the plaintiffs about the value of the trees.
"This is not a $5,000 case," she states firmly.
"I want you to get that figure out of your mind."
Mrs. Fletcher argues, "But we do not deserve to pay for her heating her home for the whole winter off of our property."
She reiterates that she knows where the wood came from.
"She cut it up on our property.
She piled it on our property and proceeded to use it all winter," Mrs. Fletcher claims.
She shows a picture of the properties in the area.
She explains they would not cut firewood from that location and carry it across a swamp.

The Counterclaim for a False Restraining Order
The defendant has a counterclaim.
She alleges the plaintiffs filed a false restraining order against her.
Judge Judy asks what was false about it.
The defendant claims they were not shooting at the plaintiffs.
Judge Judy cuts her off.
"Listen to me, you, your boyfriend, your girlfriend and her boyfriend, frightened the hell out of them," Judge Judy declares.
The defendant tries to argue that others were shooting that day.
"I have neighbors on the other side of me that were shooting," she says.
Judge Judy dismisses this.
"I don't know that," she states.
"I know that you were shooting that day, and irresponsible, and she had an absolute right to file a restraining order."
Judge Judy emphasizes the danger.
The restraining order was to stop the defendant from potentially injuring the plaintiffs or their children.

The Verdict
Judge Judy delivers her ruling.
"On your claim, I'm awarding you $250," she states.
She explains, "because clearly someone from her house cut down trees, which are no longer probably visible 'cause they're all overgrown."
The defendant's counterclaim is dismissed.
Judge Judy reiterates, "they have now told you, don't get firewood from their property."
The defendant insists, "I have not gotten any firewood from their property."
Judge Judy concludes the case.
