FULL VIDEO AT THE END OF THE POST

The Rental Agreement Begins

Miss Fisher and her boyfriend, Nicholas, rented a room from Miss Miller.

They found the room through a co-worker of Miss Miller's.

Miss Fisher and Nicholas moved into the room in early April.

The rent for the room was $650 per month.

Miss Fisher stated she worked from home, owning her own business.

She sold glass art online.

Nicholas stated he was unemployed.

He helped out at his mom's grooming shop when needed.

Nicholas claimed he had been unemployed for about two years.

He was waiting for surgery on both of his shoulders, which he said were damaged.

Miss Fisher stated she left the room on September 5th.

Police Calls to the Residence

Judge Judy asked Miss Fisher how many times the police were called to the home between April and September.

Miss Fisher estimated "at least two or three."

She claimed she did not know who called the police.

Miss Fisher admitted the police calls were due to verbal fights between her and Nicholas.

Miss Miller stated she had lived in her home in Citrus Heights since January 2014.

She rented the home.

Prior to Miss Fisher and Nicholas moving in, the police had been called to her home only once.

That call was for a verbal altercation with her ex-boyfriend in March or April 2016.

Evidence of Multiple Police Reports

Miss Miller presented a printout of police reports.

The reports showed 10 calls to her home between the end of July and September.

Judge Judy reviewed these reports.

Two specific reports were from September 5th.

Miss Fisher initially claimed she did not know who called the police.

However, when Miss Miller mentioned three calls on September 5th, Miss Fisher admitted, "I called the police, boom."

This admission contradicted her earlier statement.

Nicholas's Credibility Questioned

Miss Miller claimed that Nicholas was doing drugs in her home.

She also stated that he and Miss Fisher had multiple violent fights.

One fight allegedly resulted in a damaged window.

Nicholas claimed the window broke because of a faulty slider.

He said he used a lot of force to pull the window down.

Judge Judy confronted Nicholas about his earlier statement regarding his shoulder injuries.

Nicholas had claimed he hadn't worked in two years due to waiting for shoulder surgery on both shoulders.

Judge Judy pointed out that he now claimed to have used "an awful lot of strength" to pull down the window.

Nicholas also claimed he did "most of the maintenance around the house."

Judge Judy questioned how he could perform such tasks with severe shoulder injuries.

Nicholas explained that he dislocated his shoulder multiple times just lifting things.

He said he tried to do things but would forget about his shoulders, and they would dislocate.

He claimed he had been to the hospital multiple times and was scheduled for surgery.

Judge Judy suggested that if he could pull down a window and do maintenance, he could wash dishes.

Nicholas responded that he had washed dishes multiple times at Miss Miller's house.

Financial Support and Employment

Judge Judy asked Miss Fisher and Nicholas how they made money to pay rent and support themselves.

Miss Fisher stated she had a job now.

She said she made money then by selling glass online.

Nicholas also claimed to sell glass art online.

He also stated he received food stamps.

Protective Order Against Nicholas

Miss Miller stated she spent two weeks in August obtaining a restraining order against Nicholas.

She claimed he had threatened her horses.

Nicholas was served with a temporary restraining order on August 31st.
