FULL VIDEO AT THE END OF THE POST

A Bumble Connection

Miss Needham and Mr. Bosch met on a dating website.

The website was called Bumble.

Their connection happened in early May.

Mr. Bosch picked up Miss Needham at her house for their first meeting.

They shared a kiss during this initial encounter.

Financial Difficulties Emerge

Within two weeks of meeting, Miss Needham informed Mr. Bosch about her financial struggles.

She had recently lost her job.

Miss Needham told Mr. Bosch she was "strapped for cash."

This communication occurred either through a phone call or text messages.

She mentioned needing money for rent.

The First Request for Money

On May 21st, Miss Needham expressed her distress to Mr. Bosch.

She stated her bank account was "screwed up."

She claimed to have lost all her rent money.

Miss Needham told Mr. Bosch she was "freaking out" and "really scared."

She indicated she was hesitant to ask for help.

Mr. Bosch offered to give her $300.

Miss Needham responded, "Anything is amazing. I don't know how to thank you."

Subsequent Financial Assistance

Mr. Bosch provided Miss Needham with money on several occasions.

On May 16th, he gave her $25.

Another $25 was given on May 19th.

The $300 was given on May 21st.

On May 27th, Mr. Bosch gave her $10.

He provided an additional $20 on May 28th.

The total amount Mr. Bosch gave Miss Needham was $1,030.

Intention to Repay

Miss Needham stated her intention was to pay Mr. Bosch back.

She said she would repay him "when I could."

Text messages from Miss Needham supported this intention.

One message read, "I'll pay you back when I can."

Another message stated, "I'll Venmo you when I have some money."

On June 9th, she sent a message saying, "I give up. I'll pay you back when I can."

She also wrote, "Sorry for everything. Everything went okay with the bills. I have to pay rent still but I'll figure it out soon."

Another message from May 26th said, "Please don't think I'm ignoring you. I just don't know how I'm gonna pay my rent and my car is completely breaking down so I'm trying and I'll Vmo you when I have some money."

Miss Needham explained she was laid off from a second job.

She stated she had been struggling financially since before receiving the money.

She confirmed she was "still struggling."

Judge Judy Questions the Timeline

Judge Judy questioned the short timeframe between their meeting and the request for money.

She noted that Miss Needham asked for money within two weeks of their first meeting.

Judge Judy described this as "online dating for dollars."

She asked Miss Needham how many times she had seen Mr. Bosch before asking for money.

Miss Needham initially claimed she had only seen him once.

She confirmed they were intimate during that one meeting, stating, "We did kiss."

Judge Judy summarized, "So you met once, you kissed two weeks later, you called and said I'm strapped for cash."

A Second Meeting and Flowers

Mr. Bosch stated they met a second time.

During this second meeting, he gave Miss Needham a hug and flowers.

Miss Needham later conceded she might have met him one more time.

She stated her memory "doesn't serve her well."

The Complaint to the Boss

Miss Needham called Mr. Bosch's boss.

She admitted to telling his boss that Mr. Bosch was "crazy."

She also claimed he sent her "weird videos."

Miss Needham stated she complained to his boss about him "stalking" her.

The Missing Evidence

Judge Judy asked Miss Needham to show the "weird videos."

Miss Needham claimed she did not have the videos.

She stated she deleted everything related to Mr. Bosch.

Miss Needham explained she deleted them because he made her "uncomfortable."

She also claimed her phone fell in the toilet.

She said she now has a new phone.

Miss Needham asserted that Mr. Bosch sent her "over 20 videos of him singing and playing guitar."

She reiterated, "I don't have them in my possession because he made me uncomfortable so I had no reason to keep any evidence of him in my life."

She added, "I wanted him deleted."

Judge Judy's Assessment

Judge Judy noted that Miss Needham's messages clearly indicated an intention to repay the money.

She highlighted the phrase, "I'll let you know when I have it."

Judge Judy concluded that Miss Needham was taken for a fool.

She stated, "She owes you one thousand and thirty dollars."

The Verdict

Judge Judy ruled in favor of Mr. Bosch.

She ordered Miss Needham to pay Mr. Bosch $1,030.

Judge Judy offered a cautionary statement about online dating.

She advised that if someone asks for money within two weeks of meeting, "bing bing bing bing bing bing she'll all go off in your head."

She compared it to a scam where someone claims to be held prisoner and asks for money.

Miss Needham interjected, stating Mr. Bosch made her "extremely uncomfortable."

She also mentioned, "I wanted this creepy stalker out of my life."
