Amy recalled a phone conversation on Sunday.
Tara said she did not have the money.
Amy insisted Missy needed to be seen.
Tara later told Amy she contacted her new employer.
Her employer gave her the morning off.

The Promise to Repay
Amy presented a text message as evidence.
Tara sent this text message on November 20th at 2:27 p.m.
The text read, "I promise if you help me pay for some of it, I will pay you back and I get paid every week and I can give you some money."
This was for the initial visit.
Tara admitted she did not pay back the $249.
She claimed "harassment" from Amy started.
Tara stated her initial agreement was only to pay back the first visit.

Family Doubts and Dog Love
Tara presented her own text message evidence.
Her family member sent her a text.
It was about putting the dog down due to the extreme cost.
Tara showed Amy's response to her.
Amy's text from November 22nd said, "Trust me, I have family who thinks that way and they don't understand a dog's love between a person and how much a dog person loves their pet."
This text was sent after Missy was already at the vet hospital.
Tara clarified it was her sister-in-law who asked about putting Missy down.
Tara's sister-in-law said, "It's hard, but what about putting her down, that's so much money?"
Tara's reply to her sister-in-law was, "I'm making more money now at my job.
We love her so much."
Then Tara relayed Amy's message about family not understanding dog love.

Judge Judy's Clear Ruling on the Vet Bill
Judge Judy cut to the chase.
She told Tara, "It's your dog."
"She was very nice to you."
"You have to pay it for the vet bill, $3,300."
The Pet Sitting Claim
Amy then brought up the pet sitting.
She took care of Missy starting November 23.
This was the day before Thanksgiving.
Tara had already made plans to go out of town.
Amy suggested Tara cancel her plans.
Tara said her mother had already booked hotel reservations.
Amy offered to sequester Missy in the bedroom with water.
She would come to do pet sitting visits.
Tara denied Amy ever said anything about payment.
She stated she would not have paid $1,200.
Judge Judy quickly dismissed this claim.
"I'm not considering her pet sitting," Judge Judy stated.
"Do you understand?"
"Of course."
"You're going to pay the vet bill."
"$3,300."
