YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT SHE TOLD JUDGE JUDY!
A Landlord-Tenant Dispute with a Canine Twist
Imagine a courtroom where a French bulldog's diet becomes a central point of contention.
That is exactly what happened in this Judge Judy case.

The Plaintiff Seeks Justice for Property and Pet
Eva Cabrera is the plaintiff.
She is suing her former landlord, Blaine Gemini.
She is also suing Blaine's friend, Kevin Lee.
Ms. Cabrera claims property damage.
She also claims her French bulldog puppy was nearly killed.
She wants $5,000 from them.

The Rent Agreement Under Scrutiny
Judge Judy asks about the living arrangement.
Ms. Cabrera says she answered an ad for a room.
The price was $600.
She claims Mr. Gemini told her he didn't need the money.
She says the agreement was for her to help with cooking and cleaning.
Mr. Gemini denies this.
He calls it "a complete lie."
He states it was a temporary arrangement.
He says he was just trying to be a nice guy.
He felt sorry for her "sob story."
Judge Judy confirms there was no other relationship.

The March Incident and Eviction
Ms. Cabrera moved in on February 1st.
She paid zero rent in February.
She paid zero rent in March.
Something happened in March.
Ms. Cabrera went out of town for three days.
When she returned, the lock on her door was gone.
She claims Kevin, Blaine's friend, had been sleeping in her bed.
She had to go to work.
When she came back later, she says they had given her dog "sugar food."
She had told them not to feed her French bulldog.
French bulldogs cannot eat just any food.
Later that day, Blaine and Kevin were on the couch.
She says Blaine told her Kevin would sleep in her bed with her.
She found this "creepy."
She grabbed her clothes and left.
At five in the morning, her dog was throwing up fiercely.
She rushed her dog to the vet.

Property Damage Claims
Ms. Cabrera claims her dog almost died.
She returned to the house.
The locks were changed.
Her belongings were in the garage and damaged.
She claims her TV was cracked.
The screen was completely cracked in the middle.
Judge Judy asks for a photograph of the damaged TV.
Ms. Cabrera says she had one, but her phone was dead.
Judge Judy dismisses this excuse.
Ms. Cabrera also claims her bed frame was damaged.
She says it was a velvet bed frame.
She shows a picture.
Judge Judy asks to see the damage.
Ms. Cabrera points out black marks.
She says it's oil from the garage.
She claims it happened when they dragged it into the garage.

The Dog's Vet Report Takes Center Stage
Ms. Cabrera mentions her essential oils.
Judge Judy cuts her off.
She does not want to hear about the oils.
Ms. Cabrera then mentions doctor bills for her dog.
They came to $3,000.
Judge Judy states she does not want to see the bills.
She wants to see the vet's report.
Just the report.
Judge Judy reads from the vet's report.
The report states there was a "sting of onion" when the dog was vomiting.
It was presumably due to being fed goulash.
Blaine Gemini denies this.
He says he does not eat goulash.
He claims he was outside smoking a cigarette at the time.

Blaine Gemini's Version of the Dog Incident
Mr. Gemini explains his side.
He says Ms. Cabrera would leave her dog outside all day.
It was cold in March.
He came home from work.
The dog barked at him.
